I just laughed at the comment the Admin lady gave me…it is very true I do write heaps but I can’t help it…I express myself well on paper…
Well what an eventful week, two huge performances in the time period of a week is just amazing to think that I got through them alright…
well yeah we had our creative arts last night, and it was only the day before that we actually had a dress rehearsal in front of the class and they gave us some constructive criticism on our ensemble, which actually was quite helpful, and we came up with an ending where Nadia goes to kill Laura but Jess and Jacqui save her and run off stage and I say the last line…which I don’t think I was saying particularly well in rehearsals, but after running it through my head loads of times and pretty much annoying Laura with how to say it…I think it said it ok on the actual night, but we feel our ending is still a bit flat…so I think we shall improve it in future, as we still have to perform and get assessed on this ensemble on June 18th
I must say (sorry for sounding a bit cocky here) that I think our ensemble did pretty well considering we only found out like 13 days ago we would perform in Creative Arts, and we spent a lunchtime, class time and before school time, rehearsing and brainstorming new ideas, so I think we did pretty well.
Laura and I were pretty much just hanging with each other most of yesterday and last night, just in the change rooms and around Robert Blackwood Hall, and come the time for the Orchestra to start we were already changed and watching LOL and while walking out of the audience someone said “hey flick” but I had no idea who they were, so I just decided to be nice n say hi anyway:P
So yeah, Cashy seems pleased with our performance, the only malfunction that was noticeable was that Jess’ microphone stopped working near the end of our performance…which did kind of suck but not a great deal, the audience still laughed at her jokes so it must have been alright:D
So yeah, hopefully we’ll do just as good if not, better, on June 18th:D
